Build or Maintain Trails

MCCcrewWith 5 miles of hiking trail and 5 kilometers of groomed cross country ski trails, trail volunteers have plenty of opportunity to work outdoors.

This work is often physically demanding and involves lifting, shoveling and cutting brush.

Carpentry skills are helpful as is the ability to operate a chain saw, tractor and snowmobile.

Trail workers generally work in teams alongside of and under the supervision of Arboretum staff, but experienced individuals who can work safely on their own are always welcome.
